SUMMARY

Provide leadership and supervision regarding all aspects of Flex Health. Facilitates and guides student learning in a flexible, individualized student-paced format in health-related courses. Coordinates all aspects of classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical instructor.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; minimum three years’ related experience; proven organizational skills; excellent communication/presentation skills; exemplary interpersonal skills. 

 

Preference may be given for one or more of the following: Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License; Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field; five years career tech teaching and/or educational administration experience; Oklahoma Secondary Principal’s Certification; Oklahoma Technology Center Administrator’s Credential; proven successful educational administration experience.

 

Travel across the district is required; must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience to operate district vehicles and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Steady physical activity is required during days of clinical rotations consisting of walking and standing. Strenuous physical activity is required intermittently when assisting in moving patients and/or equipment. Direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which standard precautions apply requiring the use of personal protective equipment that must be worn in these circumstances (Category I and II). Must be able to provide documented evidence of current vaccinations and/or tests as required. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance.
