Summary

Provide senior level leadership regarding the campus safety and protection of all stakeholders by continually assessing the district from a safety perspective and implementing all necessary safety-related training and procedures.

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience required. Advanced CLEET Certification is required along with Instructor Certification in one of the following areas: Law Enforcement Driver Training, Defensive Tactics, or Firearms (preference may be given for all three). Preference may be given for Master’s degree, experience in an educational setting, and/or school administrator certification.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, is exposed to outside weather conditions and occasionally to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
