SUMMARY
Provide leadership and supervision regarding all aspects of Flex Health. Facilitates and guides student learning in a flexible, individualized student-paced format in health-related courses. Coordinates all aspects of classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical instructor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; minimum three years’ related experience; proven organizational skills; excellent communication/presentation skills; exemplary interpersonal skills.
Preference may be given for one or more of the following: Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License; Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field; five years career tech teaching and/or educational administration experience; Oklahoma Secondary Principal’s Certification; Oklahoma Technology Center Administrator’s Credential; proven successful educational administration experience.
Travel across the district is required; must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience to operate district vehicles and maintain an acceptable driving record.

- Provide leadership and supervision regarding all aspects of the Flex Health Education which may include adult basic education program.
- Maintain a school climate that is safe, orderly, secure, and positive for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Responsible for student record keeping including enrollment, attendance, discipline, counseling, grades, transcript information, and follow-up.
- Develop and administer program budgets to ensure adequate resources to meet the needs of courses and programs.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials in accordance with district policies and procedures.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of quality employees to support the needs of Flex Health courses and programs.
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance and academic progress, AHA BLS CPR card, professional license and/or certifications, and immunizations as needed.
- Submit all reports as required by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technical Education, Oklahoma State Department of Education, Canadian Valley Technology Center Board of Education, and other agencies as necessary.
- Conduct faculty, staff, and departmental meetings as necessary.
- Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the District.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement with a strong focus on positive student achievement.
- Participate in professional associations that support the mission of Canadian Valley Technology Center and the Oklahoma Career and Technology Education system and other professional development activities.
- Participates as an active member of BIS team.
- Market and promote Canadian Valley Technology Center through professional and community organizations, services, and activities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall direction, supervision, coordination and evaluation of assigned adjunct instructors.
- Responsible for the overall direction, supervision, coordination and evaluation of assigned support staff.
- Supervise the development and coordination of staff development activities for the continued growth of adjunct faculty.
- Perform all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Board of Education policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Steady physical activity is required during days of clinical rotations consisting of walking and standing. Strenuous physical activity is required intermittently when assisting in moving patients and/or equipment. Direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which standard precautions apply requiring the use of personal protective equipment that must be worn in these circumstances (Category I and II). Must be able to provide documented evidence of current vaccinations and/or tests as required. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance.
