SUMMARY

Responsible for the tracking of major equipment and the oversight of non-tagged inventory in coordination with programs/ departments. Travel to all district campuses and other sites with district property will be required.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required.

 

Travel across the district is required; must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience to operate district vehicles and maintain an acceptable driving record.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform physical inventory annually by scanning all tagged equipment in coordination with programs/ departments and ensuring all inventory is accounted for.
  • Input and maintain major equipment within School ERP Pro
  • Assign, attach, and maintain inventory tags of major equipment items.
  • Coordinate with fiscal personnel regarding purchases that qualify as major equipment.
  • Prepare list of surplus items for superintendent's secretary for board approval.
  • Dispose of board approved surplus items.
  • Coordinate the auction of surplus items as approved by the board.
  • Be the main contact point for auction items.
  • Make all transfers and changes of items on inventory as required to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure upkeep of non-tagged inventory on a continuous basis.
  • Assist in moving equipment weighing several hundred pounds by pushing and/or pulling and using a dolly, cart, assistive equipment, etc.

Constant walking, carrying, handling; near, mid-range and far vision; and communication (all representative duties).

Ability to stand/walk approximately 7-8 hours per day.

Frequent to continuous bending/stooping; squatting/crouching; occasional to frequent crawling/kneeling.

Frequent to continuous reaching above shoulder, continuous pushing/pulling.

Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional carrying/lifting over 75 pounds with assistive equipment.
